how to – WEAR SCARVES

Scarves aren’t just to keep your neck warm. Actually, these days you can wear scarves during any season. They even make spring and summer scarves. And since scarves are meant as much for fashion as they are for function, there are tons of fab ways that you can tie yours around your neck.

It’s a Wrap

If you want to keep your look simple, wrap your scarf around your neck a few times. You’ll need a longer scarf to make this trend work. Do this style a few different ways. Either take your scarf and simply wrap it around your neck a few times, tucking the ends inside, or place the middle of the scarf at your neck, pulling the sides back so they fall down your back. Then take them and pull them around your neck and back over the front, so your scarf wraps around once while the ends hang down the front of your outfit.

Get Girly

Tie your scarf into a pretty little bow. You can wear the bow in the center, or pull the ends of the scarf to one side to tie your bow. This looks really cute with feminine, printed and brightly colored scarves. Try yours the next time you wear a dress or a skirt, or use your scarf to make jeans look a bit more feminine.

Belt It

You’ll need a large, wide scarf to make this work. Pashminas are a fantastic option. Just drape the scarf around your neck so it falls down on either side. Take a belt and wrap it around your waist over the pashmina. And, just like that, you’ve got a interesting and chic scarf look.

Loop It

This look requires a long scarf, too. Take yours and fold it in half. Then place the center of the scarf on the back of your neck so either side hangs down your front. Now, take the loose ends and pull them through the side of your scarf that’s looped. Don’t pull it till it’s tight; keep it a little loose.

Have an awesome week!!
